Crave World Clock
Crave World Clock (formerly Tech-Pro World Clock) is a Windows desktop accessory that helps you keep in touch with friends and colleagues around the world. It shows the current time at your most important locations, overlaid on a colorful map created from NASA imagery and shaded to show night and day. Handy pop-up tools help you quickly find the time and international dialing code for any major world city, and there's a pop-up year at a glance calendar, too.

Crave World Clock is a great tool to help you know when is the best time to call friends, relatives, colleagues and business contacts overseas, but it's also a beautiful addition to your Windows desktop. The map, which can be resized to several different sizes, is created from real NASA imagery and shaded to show day, night and twilight. The map may optionally be overlaid with near-realtime cloud imagery from XPlanet for extra interest and beauty.
You can use Crave World Clock as a normal desktop application, or you can display the world clock on your desktop background as wallpaper.
Whilst minimized, Crave World Clock runs in the system tray to avoid cluttering the task bar. You can see the current time in up to 8 selected cities just by pointing at the program icon. When the window is showing, you can point at any location on the map and Crave World Clock will display the time at the city nearest to where you are pointing.
To facilitate ad-hoc time enquiries, the Time Finder lets you find the current time in any of the cities in Crave World Clock's database. There is also a handy sortable list of international dialing codes.
Finally, Crave World Clock offers a pop-up year at a glance calendar. It's very useful for planning meetings or checking the dates of holidays, birthdays and anniversaries.
Tech-Pro.net recommends Crave World Clock because it's an attractive addition to your Windows desktop that lets you see at a glance what the time is in different parts of the world and when is a good time to call distant colleagues, friends and relatives.
