PhotoRecovery for Mac
PhotoRecovery for Mac is an easy to use do it yourself photo recovery software for Mac OS X. Using this product you can quickly and easily recover photos from hard drives, memory cards and most digital cameras.
Recovering photos using PhotoRecovery for Mac is very easy. If the pictures were lost from your digital camera you must first connect it to your Mac. If the camera is not directly supported by the software, you will need to remove the memory card and place it in a USB card reader to allow PhotoRecovery to access it.
Start PhotoRecovery for Mac. One or more disk drives will be listed. Select the drive containing the photos you wish to recover and click Start Scan. After the scan has been completed, a list of the photos and other media files found by PhotoRecovery will be displayed. You can filter the list of files by file type.
PhotoRecovery for Mac has a built-in preview feature. Click on a filename to see a thumbnail preview of the picture. If the software can display the image then it should be possible to recover the photo intact. To recover your lost photos, just select the files you want and save them to a new location.
Additional features of PhotoRecovery for Mac include the ability to format or wipe a memory card. You can also create a backup image of a memory card, and then recover photos from the backup image.
