The results of the recovery are presented in a familiar Windows Explorer view, complete with task pane on the left. You can view thumbnail previews of the files that have been recovered just by selecting them with the mouse.
Recovery of selected files is equally easy and intuitive. Partition Recovery supports saving recovered data to any drive accessible by Windows, so you don't overwrite the data you are trying to recover. Exclusive to DiskInternals! Direct to CD data recovery
Recovered files must never be saved to the same drive they were recovered from, because of the risk of overwriting the lost data in the process. You should always use a different drive, such as an external drive or network drive. Saving to CD using standard CD writing software creates temporary files on the hard drive, so that is no solution.
Partition Recovery offers Direct to CD recovery. Recovered files may be burned direct to CD without any temporary files being created on the hard drive, making this product safe to use even when no other drive is available.
Remote recovery
Partition Recovery also supports remote data recovery across a network. To do this you must download Recovery Server (which is free) and install it on the PC you wish to recover data from. You can then connect to the server using Partition Recovery as a client on another PC and perform the data recovery.
