HDD Regenerator
HDD Regenerator is an innovative data recovery tool
that enables you to recover files from badly damaged hard disks, at a fraction of the cost of professional data recovery
services. It does this by rejuvenating and repairing bad sectors, so that data hitherto unreadable by Windows becomes readable
again.
How it works
About 60% of all hard drives damaged with bad sectors have an incorrectly magnetized disk surface. HDD Regenerator uses a specially developed algorithm that repairs damaged disk surfaces. This technology is hardware independent, it supports many types of hard drives and it repairs damage that even low-level disk formatting cannot repair. As a result, previously unreadable information will be restored. Because of the way the repair is made, the existing data on the disk drive will not be destroyed.
Can HDD Regenerator repair my drive?
About 60 % of damaged hard disks can be repaired by regeneration. You can determine the probability of success using the free trial version. This will try to regenerate the first bad sector found on the disk, and will produce a report showing the probability of regenerating the entire disk using the full version.
If the first bad sector found has been successfully regenerated, you can buy the product to
regenerate all the bad sectors on your hard drive. If the first bad sector has not been successfully regenerated, the drive may
not be recoverable and should be replaced as soon as possible.
Note: Since HDD Regenerator does not change the logical structure of a hard drive, the operating system may still show some sectors marked earlier as "bad". Other disk utilities such as Scandisk will detect logical bad sectors even though the disk has been successfully regenerated and is no longer damaged by physical bad sectors. This is because these bad sectors were marked as such by the operating system during formatting, and these marks are preserved (like all of the data) during regeneration. To remove these bad sectors, you must repartition and reformat the hard disk drive.
