AVS Audio Tools is a bargain collection of ten audio
utilities that let you perform just about every common audio task. You can record audio files from
any source including Internet radio, copy or rip tracks from CD, convert between all major

The toolkit has a central control panel, from which you choose the tool that you want to use. Most of the tools have a wizard
interface, making them easy to use. You select what you want to process and the options to use, click Next, select the
output, and the tool then runs. The tools have a choice of skins, allowing you to pick one that matches your
Windows color scheme or theme.
AVS Audio Tools contains the following audio utilities:
AVS Audio
Converter. This is a 4-step wizard that converts audio files from one format to another. It supports all the popular
formats used by music players and mobile phone ringtones including MP3, MP2, MP+, OGG, AAC, M4A, AMR, WMA, WAV, ADPCM, GSM and
VOX.
AVS Audio
Mix. This is a simple music composition tool that lets you create music tracks and ringtones by combining sound
samples and loops, which may then be saved in one of six popular formats. The tool includes 120 sample loops, and an add-in
package containing more than 40MB of extra samples is available for free download after you have purchased the full
product.
AVS Audio
Recorder. Like the Windows Sound Recorder, this tool allows you to record from any of the audio inputs on your
computer. The sound card and input are easily selectable, and you can record directly to MP3, MP2, MP+, AAC, M4A, AMR, WAV,
ADPCM and WMA formats.
AVS Radio
Recorder. As the name suggests, this utility lets you record directly from Internet radio stations. You can search for
stations by genre and bit rate. The selection is a bit limited, and there is no way to manually add stations that are not on
the list. Recordings can only be saved as MP3 files.
AVS Audio
Grabber. This utility lets you "rip" tracks from audio CDs and save them in MP3, MP2, ADPCM, AAC, M4A, AMR, WAV, OGG
or WMA format. AVS Audio Grabber has CDDB support, so it can name the output files using the track and artist name obtained
from a CD database server.
AVS Clone
CD. This is a tool that allows you to easily make copies of audio CDs. The program can also copy CDs to an ISO image
file for backup purposes or to burn later. The ability to ignore read errors, replacing them with silence, allows you in many
cases to make a usable copy of damaged or otherwise unplayable discs.
AVS Audio
CD Creator. You use this utility to create audio compilation CDs from audio files already stored on your hard drive.
You can play the assembled tracks from within the application to make sure they are correct before you burn them to disc.
AVS Music Disc
Creator. This utility is used to create music compilation CDs in MP3, WMA or AAC format, to be played on a computer or
portable music player. You can create folders on the output disc to hold groups of songs.
AVS Ringtone
Maker. As the name suggests, this utility allows you to create ringtones for your mobile phone. You can load and save
music files in a variety of formats, record direct from audio sources, apply fade-in, fade-out and effects, in order to create
professional sounding ringtones for upload to your mobile.
AVS Mobile Uploader. The last
tool in the package, AVS Mobile Uploader is used to upload the ringtones you have created to your mobile device. It supports a
number of output methods including USB, Bluetooth, Infrared and iPod / PSP, dependent on the drivers installed in your
computer.
