As-U-Type checks what you type, whatever you are typing into. When you make a mistake, it sounds a warning and offers a list of possible corrections.
To choose a correction, just type the number shown in the list. If the word was valid, but As-U-Type didn't recognize it, press F2 to add the word to the dictionary, so it will know it in future. If none of the options are correct, press Del to delete the mis-typed word and position the cursor where you can re-type it. If the mistake is one you (or your keyboard) often make, select the correction with the arrow keys or the mouse and then press 0 to make the correction and have it corrected in future automatically. If you don't want to change anything, hit Esc or just carry on typing and As-U-Type will eventually hide the correction list.
As-U-Type makes correcting errors very simple, usually using just one or two keystrokes. You don't need to hit backspace
repeatedly or use the mouse to make the correction, saving you time and physical effort. But the real power of As-U-Type is the
way you can teach it common mistakes using the 0 key so that in future it will make that correction automatically, without
you having to do anything. After a while, you hardly notice it working. As-U-Type is the only program that can do this,

You can easily review and change the corrections it makes, so if you accidentally add an incorrect correction you can easily remove it.
